Coyote
Coyote SL-Series 36-Inch Built-In Gas Grill
Coyote's loaded built-in and the answer to the C-Series' biggest weakness. Three 20,000 BTU Infinity Burners make 60,000 BTU, joined by a 15,000 BTU infrared sear zone and a 15,000 BTU infrared rear burner for 90,000 BTU total across 875 square inches. Unusually for this category, the rotisserie kit, ceramic briquettes and smoker box are all included rather than sold as accessories — Bull and Blaze both charge extra for the spit. Price is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY (C3SL36). It replaces the older S-Series C2SL36, which dealers are now listing as unavailable.

Specifications
Features
Pros
- ✓Dedicated 15,000 BTU infrared sear zone is a separate burner, not a marketing name for turning the mains up
- ✓Rotisserie kit and motor are in the box — on a comparable Bull Brahma or Blaze LTE+ that is a several-hundred-dollar add
- ✓20,000 BTU Infinity Burners are the highest per-burner output of anything here short of the luxury brands
- ✓Ceramic briquettes even out hot spots that plague thin flame tamers
- ✓Spring-assisted hood makes a heavy double-walled lid easy one-handed
Cons
- ✗Only three main burners across 36 inches, so zone control is coarser than the five-burner Bull Brahma at similar money
- ✗The sear zone eats grate space you cannot use for indirect cooking
- ✗Coyote's site is not price-transparent, so you are dependent on dealer pricing that swings by several hundred dollars
- ✗Head only, and a 32.5-inch cutout means it will not drop into an island cut for a 30-inch Bull

More from Coyote →Coyote's entry built-in and the most design-led grill at this price — it is the head that shows up in architect-specified outdoor kitchens because the fascia and smudge-proof control panel are cleaner than Bull's or Blaze's. Three 15,000 BTU I-Burners make 45,000 BTU across 616 square inches, with an integrated wind guard and interior lighting standard. Price is for the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY (model C3C34); Coyote sells the matching cart as a separate SKU. Note the tradeoff: Coyote runs meaningfully lower total BTU here than Bull or Blaze at similar money, spending the budget on fit and finish instead.
Weber
Weber Summit FS38 E
Weber's current flagship freestanding gas grill, replacing the long-running Summit S-Series. Five tapered PureBlu burners make 65,000 BTU, with a 12,000 BTU side burner and a 16,000 BTU top-down infrared broiler that sears from above rather than below. A rotisserie motor, spit and forks are included rather than sold separately, as is a stainless smoker box. The Smart FS38X adds Weber Connect for roughly $1,300 more.
The 38-inch step up from the Angus and Bull's highest-volume premium head. Five cast stainless burners plus an infrared back burner make 90,000 BTU across 943 square inches total — 720 primary and a 223 square inch warming rack. Bull's $3,939 MSRP covers the DROP-IN HEAD ONLY. Worth knowing before you buy: Bull has stopped bundling the rotisserie kit with these models, so the spit and motor that older reviews describe as included are now a separate accessory.
Blaze's flagship built-in, and the point at which the brand stops competing on value. Three 18,000 BTU cast stainless H-burners replace the LTE's four tube burners, running 54,000 BTU into 816 square inches under 12mm hexagonal cooking rods roughly a third thicker than the LTE's 9mm. A rotisserie kit with a waterproof motor is included rather than optional, along with a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner. Price quoted is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY in propane at BBQGuys, the authorized dealer; Blaze itself publishes no prices.
Summerset's flagship built-in, and the current name for what used to be the plain TRL line. Three 20,000 BTU #304 U-tube burners make 60,000 BTU, plus a 15,000 BTU infrared back burner that ships with a 40 lb-capacity motor rotisserie kit included rather than optional. The standout feature is the bezel lighting: the LED ring around each knob shifts white to red to show whether that burner is actually lit, which is the kind of thing you only appreciate after leaving a burner running. Price is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY (TRLPRO32) at BBQGuys; the matching cart is a separate Summerset SKU.
Weber's only built-in gas grill, and the reason it belongs beside the Blaze and Bull heads: instead of a rear rotisserie burner, it uses a 16,000 BTU top-down infrared broiler that fires heat downward onto the food from above, which browns a steak edge-to-edge rather than only where it touches the grate. Five PureBlu burners make 65,000 BTU for 81,000 total across 681 square inches. The rotisserie and a large stainless smoker box are included. Price is for the BUILT-IN unit in propane, including the trim kit for the cutout.
