What we collect

Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and debugging, and — if analytics are enabled — anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics, which you can block with any content blocker or Google's opt-out browser add-on. We have no accounts, no newsletters, and no forms, so we never ask for your name or email.

Cookies and local storage

We don't set advertising cookies. Analytics, when enabled, sets its own cookies per Google's policies. The comparison tool keeps its state in the URL you can share; nothing about your browsing is stored server-side.

Affiliate links

GrillPicker is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you follow a ‘Buy at Amazon’ link, Amazon sets a cookie that attributes purchases made in the following 24 hours to this site, and we earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. Plenty of the grills here — Big Green Egg, Yoder, Old Country, the built-in brands — aren’t sold on Amazon at all, and those link to the manufacturer instead with no commission to us. Commissions never affect which grills appear, how they rank, or what the cons say.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
