Bull Angus 30-Inch 4-Burner Drop-In Grill Head
Bull's mid-tier flagship and the model the brand rebuilt for 2026 with a new hood profile, knurled handle and black-backed gauge. Four cast stainless burners at 15,000 BTU each plus a 15,000 BTU infrared back burner total 75,000 BTU — more output than any 30-inch competitor at the price. Bull's published $2,959 MSRP is the DROP-IN HEAD ONLY; the Angus Complete Cart is a separate, more expensive SKU. The cast burners are what buy you Bull's lifetime warranty, which the welded-burner Outlaw does not get.

Specifications
Features
Pros
- ✓75,000 BTU is the highest output in the 30-inch built-in class and recovers heat fast after the lid opens
- ✓Cast stainless burners carry a lifetime warranty rather than the Outlaw's 5 years
- ✓LED-lit knobs plus twin interior lights make this genuinely usable after dark
- ✓15,000 BTU infrared back burner is half again as powerful as Blaze's 10,000 BTU equivalent
- ✓Narrower 30-inch class fits islands where a 32-inch Blaze will not
- ✓2026 redesign brought a single-piece dual-lined hood that seals better than the outgoing version
Cons
- ✗The rotisserie kit is explicitly sold separately — the back burner alone does nothing
- ✗575 sq in primary is no larger than the $1,819 Outlaw, so the premium is entirely features
- ✗Lighting, valves and the gauge get only 1 year, and lights are the common failure point
- ✗155 lb head needs two people and a finished cutout

More from Bull →The 38-inch step up from the Angus and Bull's highest-volume premium head. Five cast stainless burners plus an infrared back burner make 90,000 BTU across 943 square inches total — 720 primary and a 223 square inch warming rack. Bull's $3,939 MSRP covers the DROP-IN HEAD ONLY. Worth knowing before you buy: Bull has stopped bundling the rotisserie kit with these models, so the spit and motor that older reviews describe as included are now a separate accessory.
Bull's entry drop-in head and the cheapest way into a name-brand outdoor kitchen. Four welded stainless burners make 60,000 BTU across 575 square inches, with solid stainless grates, piezo ignition and NSF/CSA commercial certification. The $1,819 MSRP Bull publishes is for the GRILL HEAD ONLY — no cart, no doors, no island. Against the Angus above it, the Outlaw gives up the infrared back burner, the interior lighting and the lifetime cast-burner warranty.
Summerset's flagship built-in, and the current name for what used to be the plain TRL line. Three 20,000 BTU #304 U-tube burners make 60,000 BTU, plus a 15,000 BTU infrared back burner that ships with a 40 lb-capacity motor rotisserie kit included rather than optional. The standout feature is the bezel lighting: the LED ring around each knob shifts white to red to show whether that burner is actually lit, which is the kind of thing you only appreciate after leaving a burner running. Price is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY (TRLPRO32) at BBQGuys; the matching cart is a separate Summerset SKU.
Broil King
Broil King Regal S 690 Pro Infrared
The most genuinely unusual gas grill in this group: it has two completely separate cookboxes with their own lids — a 500 square inch main box and a 250 square inch second box — so you can run a low indirect roast in one and a hard sear in the other without them fighting each other. Six Dual-Tube burners make 60,000 BTU, the infrared side burner reaches 1,700°F, and a 15,000 BTU rear burner ships with a rotisserie kit and auto-reversing motor. At 270 lbs it is a serious piece of equipment, and the cookbox carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Blaze's volume seller and the model most 32-inch outdoor kitchens are built around. It adds a 10,000 BTU rear infrared rotisserie burner, interior halogen lighting and illuminated control knobs to the BCM's four 14,000 BTU cast stainless burners, for 66,000 BTU total. The price quoted is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY in propane at BBQGuys; natural gas runs about $250 more and the freestanding cart version is a separate SKU. The LTE+ is the current revision of the long-running LTE, with a lift-assist hood and a redesigned double-lined lid.
Coyote's loaded built-in and the answer to the C-Series' biggest weakness. Three 20,000 BTU Infinity Burners make 60,000 BTU, joined by a 15,000 BTU infrared sear zone and a 15,000 BTU infrared rear burner for 90,000 BTU total across 875 square inches. Unusually for this category, the rotisserie kit, ceramic briquettes and smoker box are all included rather than sold as accessories — Bull and Blaze both charge extra for the spit. Price is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY (C3SL36). It replaces the older S-Series C2SL36, which dealers are now listing as unavailable.
