Broil King
Broil King Baron 590 Shadow IR Built-In 32"
Broil King's built-in answer, and the only black built-in head in this group — the Shadow finish is matte black rather than the universal brushed stainless, which matters if your island is dark stone. Five Dual-Tube burners make 45,000 BTU across 569 square inches of primary space, with a 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner and, unusually at this price, the premium rotisserie kit included rather than sold separately. Price is for the 32-inch BUILT-IN HEAD. The Flav-R-Wave system vaporizes drippings on 304 stainless rather than using ceramic briquettes or sheet-metal tamers.

Specifications
Features
Pros
- ✓Matte black finish is genuinely hard to find in a built-in head and solves a real design problem
- ✓Premium rotisserie kit is included, which Bull, Blaze and Napoleon all charge extra for
- ✓Broil King publishes actual prices on its own store, so you are not negotiating blind through a dealer network
- ✓Dual-Tube burners and the 304 stainless Flav-R-Wave system are Broil King's own patented hardware, not generic tube burners
- ✓Linear-Flow valves give 180 degrees of knob travel, which is finer heat control than the typical 90-degree valve
Cons
- ✗Broil King's spec sheet for this built-in lists a 10,000 BTU infrared side burner, which reads like it was carried over from the freestanding Baron 590 — confirm the exact configuration with the dealer before designing the island
- ✗Cast aluminum cookbox rather than the all-304-stainless boxes Blaze and Bull use; lighter and cheaper, but a different material story
- ✗Broil King publishes no weight or cutout dimensions on the product page
- ✗Electronic Sure-Lite ignition means it needs a battery, unlike the no-power Summerset Sizzler
- ✗Lighting is limited to the control knobs; there is no interior cookbox light

Broil King Regal S590 Pro
The Broil King Regal S590 Pro is a North American-made 5-burner stainless gas grill with massive 9mm solid rod grates, dual-tube burners, a side burner, and a rear rotisserie burner with kit. It's the long-time owners' alternative to a Weber Genesis.
Broil King
Broil King Regal S 690 Pro Infrared
The most genuinely unusual gas grill in this group: it has two completely separate cookboxes with their own lids — a 500 square inch main box and a 250 square inch second box — so you can run a low indirect roast in one and a hard sear in the other without them fighting each other. Six Dual-Tube burners make 60,000 BTU, the infrared side burner reaches 1,700°F, and a 15,000 BTU rear burner ships with a rotisserie kit and auto-reversing motor. At 270 lbs it is a serious piece of equipment, and the cookbox carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Broil King
Broil King Imperial S 590i Island Grill
Not a grill head but a complete, finished outdoor kitchen — the $7,999 price covers the five-burner Imperial grill, 304 stainless cabinetry with four storage drawers, a side-burner cabinet with tank storage, a door/drawer cabinet and a granite countertop, delivered as one unit. That is the whole point: buying a Blaze or Bull head at $2,000-$4,000 still leaves you to build and pay for the island around it, and this removes that project entirely. The grill itself is five Dual-Tube burners at 55,000 BTU over 625 square inches, with a 13,000 BTU side burner, a 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner and rotisserie kit, and professional cast stainless grids.
Napoleon
Napoleon Rogue PRO-S 525 RSIB
The top of Napoleon's Rogue line and the current replacement for the Rogue XT the catalog already carries as discontinued. Four main burners make 48,000 BTU, joined by an infrared SIZZLE ZONE side burner and an infrared rear rotisserie burner for 76,500 BTU total across 851 square inches. The distinguishing feature is coverage: Napoleon warrants every part of this grill — ignition, burners, sear plates, knobs, grids — for 15 years, which is unusual at $1,679. SafetyGlow knobs light red when a burner is still running.
Bull's entry drop-in head and the cheapest way into a name-brand outdoor kitchen. Four welded stainless burners make 60,000 BTU across 575 square inches, with solid stainless grates, piezo ignition and NSF/CSA commercial certification. The $1,819 MSRP Bull publishes is for the GRILL HEAD ONLY — no cart, no doors, no island. Against the Angus above it, the Outlaw gives up the infrared back burner, the interior lighting and the lifetime cast-burner warranty.
Napoleon
Napoleon Prestige 500
The Napoleon Prestige 500 RSIB is a full stainless 4-burner gas grill with an infrared Sizzle Zone side burner, an infrared rear rotisserie burner, and an included rotisserie kit. It's the step-up-from-Weber recommendation in owner discussions. Note: this model is no longer sold new as of 2026. Its current equivalent is the Napoleon Prestige 500 RSIB (2025 generation, from $2,099).
