Broil King
Broil King Regal S 690 Pro Infrared
The most genuinely unusual gas grill in this group: it has two completely separate cookboxes with their own lids — a 500 square inch main box and a 250 square inch second box — so you can run a low indirect roast in one and a hard sear in the other without them fighting each other. Six Dual-Tube burners make 60,000 BTU, the infrared side burner reaches 1,700°F, and a 15,000 BTU rear burner ships with a rotisserie kit and auto-reversing motor. At 270 lbs it is a serious piece of equipment, and the cookbox carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Features
Pros
- ✓Two separate cookboxes with separate lids is a real functional advantage no other grill here offers — opening one does not dump heat from the other
- ✓1,700°F infrared side burner is hotter than most dedicated sear stations and genuinely steakhouse-grade
- ✓Rotisserie kit with an auto-reversing motor is included, and auto-reversing is a step above the plain motors bundled elsewhere
- ✓Limited lifetime cookbox warranty plus 15 years on parts AND paint, which almost nobody covers
- ✓270 lbs of 304 stainless with cast aluminum end caps holds heat far better than thin-wall cart grills
- ✓Broil King lists real prices publicly, unlike the dealer-only built-in brands
Cons
- ✗The smaller 250 sq in box is genuinely small — useful for sides, not for a second main course
- ✗270 lbs on casters is hard to move and needs solid, level decking
- ✗1,150 sq in total sounds enormous but includes the infrared grid and both warming racks
- ✗The twin-lid design means two lids to clean, two thermometers to watch and more seals to fail over time

Broil King Regal S590 Pro
The Broil King Regal S590 Pro is a North American-made 5-burner stainless gas grill with massive 9mm solid rod grates, dual-tube burners, a side burner, and a rear rotisserie burner with kit. It's the long-time owners' alternative to a Weber Genesis.
Broil King's built-in answer, and the only black built-in head in this group — the Shadow finish is matte black rather than the universal brushed stainless, which matters if your island is dark stone. Five Dual-Tube burners make 45,000 BTU across 569 square inches of primary space, with a 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner and, unusually at this price, the premium rotisserie kit included rather than sold separately. Price is for the 32-inch BUILT-IN HEAD. The Flav-R-Wave system vaporizes drippings on 304 stainless rather than using ceramic briquettes or sheet-metal tamers.

Broil King Imperial S 590i Island Grill
Not a grill head but a complete, finished outdoor kitchen — the $7,999 price covers the five-burner Imperial grill, 304 stainless cabinetry with four storage drawers, a side-burner cabinet with tank storage, a door/drawer cabinet and a granite countertop, delivered as one unit. That is the whole point: buying a Blaze or Bull head at $2,000-$4,000 still leaves you to build and pay for the island around it, and this removes that project entirely. The grill itself is five Dual-Tube burners at 55,000 BTU over 625 square inches, with a 13,000 BTU side burner, a 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner and rotisserie kit, and professional cast stainless grids.
Bull's mid-tier flagship and the model the brand rebuilt for 2026 with a new hood profile, knurled handle and black-backed gauge. Four cast stainless burners at 15,000 BTU each plus a 15,000 BTU infrared back burner total 75,000 BTU — more output than any 30-inch competitor at the price. Bull's published $2,959 MSRP is the DROP-IN HEAD ONLY; the Angus Complete Cart is a separate, more expensive SKU. The cast burners are what buy you Bull's lifetime warranty, which the welded-burner Outlaw does not get.
Blaze's volume seller and the model most 32-inch outdoor kitchens are built around. It adds a 10,000 BTU rear infrared rotisserie burner, interior halogen lighting and illuminated control knobs to the BCM's four 14,000 BTU cast stainless burners, for 66,000 BTU total. The price quoted is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY in propane at BBQGuys; natural gas runs about $250 more and the freestanding cart version is a separate SKU. The LTE+ is the current revision of the long-running LTE, with a lift-assist hood and a redesigned double-lined lid.
Coyote's entry built-in and the most design-led grill at this price — it is the head that shows up in architect-specified outdoor kitchens because the fascia and smudge-proof control panel are cleaner than Bull's or Blaze's. Three 15,000 BTU I-Burners make 45,000 BTU across 616 square inches, with an integrated wind guard and interior lighting standard. Price is for the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY (model C3C34); Coyote sells the matching cart as a separate SKU. Note the tradeoff: Coyote runs meaningfully lower total BTU here than Bull or Blaze at similar money, spending the budget on fit and finish instead.
