Blaze
Blaze 20-Inch Cast Aluminum Kamado
A kamado with no ceramic in it: the body is solid cast aluminum up to 1¼ inches thick, with a hex-pattern stainless steel cooking grid and a hinged grate for adding fuel mid-cook. Because the housing is non-porous metal rather than ceramic, Blaze allows any charcoal, any wood and any lighter-fluid or starter method without risk of absorption or thermal cracking, and covers the whole grill — body, grids, hinge, hardware — under a lifetime warranty. It is sold as a drop-in head for outdoor kitchens, with a separate cart or sleeve as an accessory.

Features
Pros
- ✓Cast aluminum cannot crack from a thermal shock the way ceramic can — no dead-grill risk from a cold-water hose or a fast temperature ramp
- ✓Non-porous body means lighter fluid, fire starters and any fuel are all permitted, which no ceramic kamado allows
- ✓Lifetime warranty covering the body, stainless grids, hinge and hardware, not just the shell
- ✓Hinged cooking grid lets you add charcoal or wood without lifting a hot grate full of food
- ✓Designed as a built-in head, so it drops into an outdoor kitchen island with the matching sleeve — most kamados cannot be built in
- ✓Much lighter than an equivalent ceramic, so a counter or island does not need reinforcing
Cons
- ✗$2,299 for 20 inches — a Big Green Egg Large is 18.25 inches for $1,199, so you pay roughly double for the metal body
- ✗Aluminum has lower thermal mass than ceramic; it recovers faster but holds a low-and-slow temperature less stubbornly overnight
- ✗Blaze is dealer-only and publishes no price of its own; the figure here is the common street price across three authorized dealers
- ✗The cart and the built-in sleeve are both extra — the head alone is what $2,299 buys
- ✗No maker or dealer review base large enough to cite a rating from
- ✗Blaze does not publish a temperature range or a shipping weight for it

More from Blaze →Blaze's volume seller and the model most 32-inch outdoor kitchens are built around. It adds a 10,000 BTU rear infrared rotisserie burner, interior halogen lighting and illuminated control knobs to the BCM's four 14,000 BTU cast stainless burners, for 66,000 BTU total. The price quoted is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY in propane at BBQGuys; natural gas runs about $250 more and the freestanding cart version is a separate SKU. The LTE+ is the current revision of the long-running LTE, with a lift-assist hood and a redesigned double-lined lid.
Blaze's entry into the built-in outdoor-kitchen market, and as of 2026 the line that replaced the older Prelude LBM in Blaze's own catalog. Four cast 304 stainless burners at 14,000 BTU each, 9mm triangular stainless cooking rods, heat-zone dividers and a lifetime warranty on everything that carries heat. The price quoted is for the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY at BBQGuys; the same head on a Blaze cart is a separate SKU that lands several hundred dollars higher. Against the Premium LTE+ above it, the BCM drops the rear infrared rotisserie burner, the interior lights and the illuminated knobs.
Blaze's flagship built-in, and the point at which the brand stops competing on value. Three 18,000 BTU cast stainless H-burners replace the LTE's four tube burners, running 54,000 BTU into 816 square inches under 12mm hexagonal cooking rods roughly a third thicker than the LTE's 9mm. A rotisserie kit with a waterproof motor is included rather than optional, along with a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner. Price quoted is the BUILT-IN HEAD ONLY in propane at BBQGuys, the authorized dealer; Blaze itself publishes no prices.
Primo is the one American-made ceramic kamado, built in Georgia, and the only major brand with an oval rather than round firebox. The oval shape is the point: a firebox divider splits it lengthwise so one end runs hot and the other indirect, giving true two-zone cooking that a round kamado cannot do without stacking racks. The All-In-One configuration is the grill on a cradle with locking casters, fold-down side tables, heat deflectors, deflector racks and the firebox divider included.

Kamado Joe Big Joe II
The 24-inch Big Joe in Series II trim: 450 sq in of grate, Kontrol Tower vent, Air Lift hinge and the two-tier Divide & Conquer rack, on a cart with locking wheels. It is the Classic Joe II scaled up by six inches of grid, which is the difference between one packer brisket and two. Series III adds a third rack tier and premium aluminum shelves for about $1,000 more.

Kamado Joe Konnected Joe
The Kamado Joe Konnected Joe is an 18-inch ceramic kamado with pellet-grill convenience bolted on: a push-button electric fire starter lights the charcoal for you, and a WiFi-connected fan holds your set temperature automatically while real lump charcoal does the flavoring.
