Nexgrill Deluxe 6-Burner with Ceramic Searing Side Burner
Nexgrill's fully-loaded Deluxe model and one of the highest-volume grills in US home improvement retail. Six stainless burners make 75,000 BTU over 563.55 sq in of primary grate — 768.14 sq in total — with an infrared ceramic searing side burner and, unusually at this price, a rotisserie kit included in the box rather than sold separately. Dual energy valves and natural gas orifices ship with it, so the propane-to-natural-gas conversion needs no extra parts kit.
Goes to the manufacturer. We earn nothing on this one.
Specifications
Features
Pros
- ✓75,000 BTU is roughly the output of a $3,900 Weber Summit at a sixth of the price
- ✓Rotisserie kit included in the box — Napoleon and Broil King charge extra for this at twice the price
- ✓Ceramic infrared side burner genuinely sears, rather than being a low-output saucepan ring
- ✓Dual energy valves and NG orifices included, so converting fuel later costs nothing
- ✓Angled porcelain flame tamers noticeably reduce flare-ups on fatty cuts
Cons
- ✗1-year warranty is the shortest of any grill in this batch and the honest cost of the feature list
- ✗Thin-gauge body: high BTU on light steel means hot spots and a lid that warps over seasons
- ✗Nexgrill publishes no shipping or assembled weight for this model
- ✗59.85 in wide with a tank frame rather than an enclosed cabinet — the tank is visible

More from Nexgrill →The odd one out in gas grilling: a WiFi- and Bluetooth-connected propane grill with a 13.8 qt air-fryer oven built into one end of the cart. Nexgrill's NEX-fi SureTemp controller holds a set temperature automatically through the app instead of leaving you to chase the knobs, and food probes report to the same app. 455.8 sq in of primary grate, 714.30 sq in total, from two 22,000 BTU burners. Liquid propane only — there is no natural gas conversion.
A tabletop portable built from cast aluminum rather than the stamped steel almost every grill at this price uses — the lid and firebox are both castings, which is why it survives being thrown in a truck. Two independently adjustable 304-grade stainless burners light by push-and-turn with no battery and no external flame. 263 sq in of cast-iron grid and a built-in lid thermometer. Nexgrill's Gourmet Plus insert is included.
The Daytona is Nexgrill's direct answer to the 36-inch Blackstone, and it undercuts it while adding a stainless lid as standard rather than as an upcharge. 792 sq in of hot-rolled steel over four stainless burners gives 38,000 BTU, with two side shelves and a lower rack on the cart. Nexgrill sells almost entirely through Home Depot, which is where the street price lives.
Pit Boss is a pellet company that keeps exactly one real gas grill, and this is it: a three-burner portable with a cast aluminum lid and body, 25,000 BTU, and 380 sq in of cast-iron grid — more grate than a Weber Traveler in a unit meant to be carried. Folding side shelves with tool hooks, a built-in lid thermometer, and a battery-free SureFire push-and-turn ignition. The cart shown in Pit Boss's photography is not included.
The top of Char-Broil's Commercial line and a genuine grill/griddle hybrid: part of the 535 sq in primary surface is a built-in flat top, so bacon, eggs and smash burgers cook on the same appliance as steaks. It steps up from the Performance line with 443-grade stainless burners carrying a 10-year warranty instead of 409-grade with 5, and stainless heat tents rather than coated steel. Gas2Coal charcoal trays are sold separately to convert it to charcoal.
